What is MoodBites
MoodBites is a European programme that enhances the skills of mental health professionals by integrating nutrition into the therapeutic process.
It is based on the latest findings in nutritional psychiatry and demonstrates how diet and eating habits influence mood, brain function and mental health outcomes.
The project develops practical training tools so that professionals in social and educational settings can support people with mental health difficulties through holistic interventions.

Project activities

- Development of the MoodBites educational model
- Creation of an e-learning course on nutrition and mental health
- Development of a mobile app for implementing nutrition programmes in mental health settings
- Pilot implementation with professionals and service users
- Awareness-raising and dissemination of results.
