Project Objective:
The #MeRest project aims to strengthen the mental resilience of adults affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, utilising creative and artistic methods of non-formal education. Through the power of storytelling, the visual arts and theatre, the project offers participants tools to express their experiences and develop skills in adaptability, self-confidence and problem-solving.
At the same time, the project enhances the professional training of adult educators through innovative pedagogical methods based on art and a psychosocial approach.
Target Groups:
- Older people and people with disabilities
- People with mental or psychosocial difficulties
- Healthcare professionals affected by the pandemic
Outcomes:
- An educational package to build resilience through creative workshops.
- Implementation guides for trainers, based on good practices and pilot implementation.
- Digital exhibition of artwork by workshop participants.
- Innovative training tools for professionals in adult education.
- Multilingual online platform providing access to the project’s materials.
- Dissemination and sustainability plan at national and European level.
