Project Objective:
The ICWE project aims to improve the psychosocial well-being of informal carers through empowerment, training and support activities. The main objective is to strengthen their skills and self-confidence so that they can respond effectively to the challenges of caregiving, as well as to enhance their collaboration with health and social care professionals.
Target groups:
- Informal adult carers, such as family members or friends who provide care without a formal professional role.
- Adult educators, who are called upon to train and support carers.
- Care professionals, who collaborate with or support informal carers.
Results
- Digital Knowledge Platform: A modern online hub with information, tools and resources for carers and professionals.
- Training Programme: Designed for trainers and care professionals, with the aim of effectively supporting informal carers.
- Support Toolkit: Practical tools, videos and user guides to support everyday care.
- Online Sustainability Event: Presentation of the project and its results to a European audience.
- National Dissemination Events: Multi-thematic workshops and presentations to inform and engage stakeholders and local communities.
