At the “HIPPOCRATES” Boarding Houses, we believe in the value of every person.
The “HIPPOCRATES II” Boarding House began operating on March 23, 2004, as an intermediate community structure — an alternative model of support and psychosocial rehabilitation for adults with intellectual disabilities and secondary mental disorders.
It accommodates 15 residents, who have been reintegrated into the community through the “PSYCHARGOS” deinstitutionalization program.
The purpose of the Boarding House is to ensure the residents’ continued stay in the community, to foster relationships between them and the life and activities of the local society, and to improve their quality of life and overall well-being.
