At the “HIPPOCRATES I” Boarding House, we believe in the value of every person.
Since January 2003, we have been providing a warm and supportive environment for adults with intellectual disabilities and secondary mental disorders.
Our goal is to help our residents gain independence, integrate into the community, and improve their quality of life.
The Boarding House accommodates 15 residents, who have been reintegrated into the community through the “PSYCHARGOS” deinstitutionalization program of the Ministry of Health.

Our Team
The Boarding House program is implemented by a specialized interdisciplinary team, consisting of:
Scientific Supervisor / Administrative Director / Psychiatrist / Psychologist / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist / Head Nurse / Nursing Staff / General Care Assistants
Our priority is to help our residents face daily challenges more easily, fully integrate into the local community, and participate actively in social life.
At the same time, we inform and empower them regarding their rights as users of mental health services.

“HIPPOCRATES I” Boarding House
The “HIPPOCRATES I” Boarding House was established under Law 2716/99 and was included in the Operational Programme “HEALTH–WELFARE” 2000–2006, within the framework of the “PSYCHARGOS – Phase II” Program of the Ministry of Health, aimed at deinstitutionalization and the socioeconomic reintegration of people with mental illness.
