This group is at increased risk of sexual harassment due to various factors, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Limited opportunities for sexual and digital education.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Difficulty in recognising abusive or inappropriate behaviour.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lower cognitive and social skills, particularly in the online environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Difficulty interpreting ambiguous social cues online.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project recognises the need to strengthen their protection by providing them with appropriate tools and knowledge, whilst at the same time empowering their autonomy in the digital world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Target Groups of the Project:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young people with intellectual disabilities<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Staff working with young people with disabilities<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stakeholders in the youth and social care sectors, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organisations<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Policy-makers at national and European level<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Project objectives<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European PR.I.S.C.I.LLA programme aims to enhance the inclusion and safety of young people with intellectual disabilities in the digital world, through innovative and experiential learning methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Inclusion and diversity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Tailored learning opportunities for young people with disabilities, with the aim of enabling them to navigate social media safely and enhancing their autonomy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Empowering professionals<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Tools and methodology to support safe digital use by young people.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Digital empowerment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Developing digital skills and critical thinking for safe and positive use of the internet.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Impact<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is expected to have a wide-ranging positive impact at local, national and European level.
